Clare Press is one of Australia's leading fashion journalists. 

She launched her label, Mrs Press, in 2008, known for its vintage-inspired slips and bridesmaids dresses.

English-born Clare has worked as a fashion designer, a brand consultant, columnist and editor. She spent five years as features director at Australian Vogue, was The Monthly's first fashion critic and, for two years, penned the "Ask Mrs Press" and "Style Matters" columns for Instyle.

Clare's writing has been published in the US, UK,and Asia, in titles including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Nylon, The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The New York Times Magazine and more. She has been photographed by Instyle and Marie Claire, both of which ran 6-page features on her entertaining style, appeared as a fashion critic on the Nine Network's Mornings, and been a brand ambassador for American Express.

Currently, Clare is a contributing editor at Sunday Style, and still writes regularly for Vogue Australia.

In 2011, her collection of essays on style, The Dressing Table, was published by Penguin/Lantern. Now she is working on her second novel. Clare lives in Sydney with her husband and two cats, and is represented by Curtis Brown.
